During the pandemic we created more than 25 different algae based design ideas.
Distilling the Sky is an artistic research project on air quality and air pollution that is severely deteriorating in many cities around the world. The project aims to communicate environmental science and pollution research to the larger public as well as creating a platform for increasing public awareness.

Distilling the Sky is a public art installation that also functions as an air filter and arena for freedom of speech. With this project I had the honor of becoming a Guggenheim Fellow in 2015. In the short video attached you can see the installation render, and a quick diagram of how it works. The project is under development.
